Movies I’ve seen. Exhaustive since the start of the COVID-19 Pandemic, but includes a few movies I remember seeing in the ~year previous. Title and cover links go to imdb.com. Not quite as good as I remembered it; a little darker too Actually watched this over two days, the 19th and the 20th. Hadn't seen the original. I actually started watching about 1/6 of the way through, but then they played it again and so I did get to see the first sixth. This movie is amazing! This was pretty boring, and not very good. I enjoyed this the first time I saw this (and this time), but Fletcher, the conductor, is uncomfortably abusive in the first half of the movie. The only scary movie I can watch, and it still scares me every time. Obviously not as good as the book, but I also don’t know how anyone could follow what was going on if they hadn’t read the book. “WHAT ARE THOSE?!” really pinpoints when this movie came out. Very cool special effects I liked how one review put it: “I love a good science fiction story; just tell me in advance.” Not as good as Winter Soldier, but great story with legitimately difficult ethical questions First time watching; this one was awesome. Pretty disappointing Pixar film, but it still made me cry. Watched to get in the mood of the upcoming pandemic. Didn’t like the mood; like the pandemic even less. Absolutely incredible, cried nine times.
